🗼 SACRED CHILD 🗼

Sacred Child is a tower defense game taking place in South America, at the Aztec's time.

What is it?

Sacred Child was the first workshop of my first year in Brassart, so it's quite literaly : my first game as a student. The school gave us the TDTK to use as a base to work with. I worked with another game designer and four game artists on a three week period on this game.

My role.

So I was in charge of the Unity development while my classmate was in charge of the producing and we shared the game design & level design part.
Because the toolkit was really bland, we needed to add quite a few stuff such as the dialog system with the narrative system or the combo system between multiple towers.
As I was the only one who knew how to use Unity at the time, I did everything related to it from the integration of the assets to the code. The integration was very time consuming but it allowed me to discover Blender, the difficulties of switching between Blender and Unity and it also teached me what to ask from the 3D artists and what to check before exporting.
