QuickTemper is a 2.5d beat 'em all based on rythm and streaks strongly influenced by Hotline Miami.
QuickTemper was my first year final project. I worked on QuickTemper with two other students of my class during three weeks. My role was to lead the project and handle the Unity development. The three weeks were pretty intense as we were working for the first time on a group project starting from scratch, while having discovered Unity development 6 months earlier. Still, it was a great experience even though I think it really needed maybe a week of work more but I learned a lot during this project, both organizationaly and technically.
The big challenge was over the adrenaline system with the power-ups, we had multiple iterations to find something that we liked so as the developer, I had to redo this system a lot with sometimes, totally starting over to try something different.
Since QuickTemper, I obviously learned a lot but I look at it proudly as the first project at Brassart where we started from scratch. There are things that cringe me a bit now but it's still an important project for me so it had to be here.
